ABOUT LYNN

Speaker, Teacher, Philosopher, Martial Artist, Founder and Director of Society of Aikido Centers, Associate member of NSA/NT, Mother, Grandmama

Lynn Fabia began her study of Aikido, a Japanese martial art in 1982.  Since the early 90’s, Lynn has been active in the community speaking about the Aikido principles and instructing Aikido classes at several colleges and universities in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

In 2002, she founded the Society of Aikido Centers with affiliate schools in the U.S. and Mexico.  With this position, Lynn became the first female Chief Instructor of an international Aikido organization in the United States.  In 2004, she was recognized by the Texas Martial Arts Hall of Fame for her dedication and accomplishments as a martial artist.  She holds the rank of 6^th degree black belt.

She has two sons and five grandchildren of which three are teenagers.

Currently she is focused on writing about the powerful impact of this art.  She is able to bring to her speaking engagements both inspiration and motivation through her philosophical insights.

What makes her unique is that she teaches how to view life from a broader perspective through the timeless principles of Aikido using energy aspects, and vibrational analogies, which is the basis of all life.
