The Significance of SAC's Logo
The design for the organization's logo was deliberately chosen because of its symbolic meaning. The founder has chosen the three symbols of the circle, square and triangle to appropriately explain Aikido. The circle, which is seen in Nature so often and in our training, signifies unification, the circular form in our tumbling and infinity. The square represents solidity and stability. The triangle symbolizes Ki flow and also the trilogy of the mind, body and spirit. The Kanji "Chushin" translated means center. The Asian gate is known as the friendship gate.
